The Longest Night Service
"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The
Lord be with you all.” 2Thessalonians 3:16
The Longest Night Service, or the Service of Light and Remembering, is a special
service held during the season of Advent. We recognize that there are those who
have experienced illness, pain, fear, loneliness, or loss throughout the year. Many
times at Christmas, the parties, tinsel, and laughter are hard to handle. This service
offers a quieter, more reflective service which focuses on the comfort God offers
all of us during rough times.
