The marriage ceremony is one which involves a covenant between two persons in the eyes of God. Our policy at Fairfax UMC is that you must be a member of the church or a relation of a member at the church to have your ceremony at the church. If you have your wedding at Fairfax UMC, it is required that you go through pre-marital counseling with whichever pastor performs the ceremony.
