8:15 am | The Sunrisers Class

This eclectic group is led by Steve Sherman and enjoys a variety of speakers and short-term Bible studies throughout the year.  Every class is begun with refreshments, singing and prayer and will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room.  If you are an early bird, this class is for you!

9:30 am | The Crusaders

This class will be gathering in Room 113 with Jim Conklin Jr. as the class leader . Classes begin with a few rousing hymns each week, move into their weekly Bible study using the Cokesbury adult curriculum and close with weekly prayer concerns.  Contact Jim Conklin for more information.

9:30 am | The Family Circle Class

This group enjoys the flexibility of a series of short-term studies of the Bible, contemporary books and outreach opportunities. Classes meets every other week in Room 112. To learn more, contact Betsy Jenkins at. The class takes turns providing leadership within the class.

9:30 am | The Seminar Class

This class is facilitated by Leslie Carter and will begin the year doing a short-term DISCIPLE Study on Romans.  When they complete the 8-week Romans study, they will choose a book by a contemporary theologian.  They will be meeting in the Parlor and invite you to try them out.

9:30 am | Coffee and Christ

This contemporary issues class is led by Marty Draper and meets in the Fellowship Hall.  This class uses the Religion section from the Washington Post and The Wired Word, on-line curriculum, to guide their discussions examining Christian perspectives on contemporary issues with lots of hot coffee to keep the conversation flowing.

11:00 am | The Bible Explorers

This group, led by Ralph and Sharron Jones, meets in Room 313.  They use the Standard Publishing Lesson Commentary (NIV) each week to begin their class discussion. This dated curriculum makes it easy to know what the lesson will be each week.  Each member of the class has a study guide.

11:00 am | Christian Encounters

This well-established class blends guest speakers, Bible Study, refreshments, singing and supportive prayer time.  They have periodic opportunities for fellowship on the weekends.  Come join this outgoing group.

6:30 pm | TNT

TNT is an adult class for 35 year olds and younger, or at least those who feel that age.  Enjoy a light meal and a short-term Bible study or a contemporary theological text in Room 310.  They also get together for social activities.

6:45 pm | Open Arms and Open Minds

This class meets in Room 313 every Sunday.  They begin their evening with a light meal and then participate in a study.  Leadership is shared among the class members.   They also often sponsor social events following the Open Doors service.
