General Schedule

GENERAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Prayer and Preparation (Today – June 1)
Throughout the campaign, pray daily to recognize God’s will for you in this campaign to better serve God’s plan for us.
• Pray that we will not hinder or limit what God wants us
to do.
• Pray for God to reveal the role each of us should play In
touching lives.
• Pray for the faithful participation of the entire church
family.
• Pray for the wisdom of our leaders, volunteers, and staff.

Information (April 27 – May 21)
Informational gatherings will be held on several dates and at various times of day during the campaign. You will be invited to join others in community to learn about the project, get answers to your questions, and receive encouragement to pray to discern God’s plan for you in the ministry of the church. No financial commitment will be expected or accepted; this is a time for sharing information.

Faith Building and Discernment (May 4 – May 25)
Teaching and guidance during Bible Study lessons on subjects such as prayerful decision-making, discovering God’s will, sacrificial giving, and commitment during Sunday Worship, Church School and Adult Studies. Working together, we will build our faith!

Commitment/All Church Event (June 1)
As a part of our special Sunday Worship Services, everyone will be invited to register their personal response to the campaign. Following 11:00 worship, there will be a special time of food fun and fellowship. Watch for details of this event in coming announcements. Expect a personal invitation to this event.

Celebration (June 15)
Although Celebration Sunday will simply be announcement of our commitments, it is much more than a number. It is a celebration of what God has done in our lives as we have prayed and heard God’s call for us.
