As pianist for the United States Army Chorus, “Pershing’s Own”, Joel Ayau performs actively around the D.C. metropolitan area, across the United States, and internationally, as a musical ambassador of goodwill. He is also active as a collaborative pianist for both instrumental and vocal music, having performed in numerous venues around the world including Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center in Washington, D. C., and National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. His recent chamber music concerts include recitals with renowned clarinetist and Juilliard faculty member, Charles Neidich, concerts with the Detroit Opera Theatre Chamber Players, and recitals at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center.
