Handbell Choirs

Our church owns a five octave set of English Handbells made by Schulmerich.  The ensembles participate in worship four to eight times per year, perform for events outside the church, and take part in festivals sponsored by the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers.  Regardless of your musical ability or training, there is a group in which you can feel comfortable, develop musical skill, and enjoy good fellowship.

Our director of youth and adult handbell ensembles is Laura Mitchell. Feel free to contact her with any questions at gosox1971@gmail.com.

The Organ

Our Sanctuary houses a three manual 42 rank pipe organ built by Zimmer and Sons with pipe work by Laukaff of Germany.  The instrument features a movable console, which allows it to be in full view of the audience for recitals.  Our organ is in constant use by the church and students and has been featured in many articles and used for recordings and workshops sponsored by the American Guild of Organists and George Mason University.
